The AlphouseCenters and AlphouseContactPoints are a transnational network of competence centers for energy-efficient and sustainable renovation and restructuring of traditional buildings in the Alpine regions. We provide decision makers at regional and local level, architects and planners, SMEs and crafts businesses with consultancy, information and training offers. Some AlphouseCenters also act as Cluster managers as well as promoters of innovation and research in the field of energy efficient construction.

The competences of the various AlphouseCenters are related, but complementary as the main fields of their expertise vary from region to region In this website you will find information on core competences and services offered by each of the AlphouseCenters and AlphouseContactPoints in the different Alpine regions. There you will also find the contact information and links to the websites of the organisations, which are operating the AlphouseCenter or AlphouseContactPoint in the respective region. Please note that most AlphouseCenters are able to provide their services not just in their native languages, but also in English. So do not hesitate to contact the respective contact person for more information on the current programme of the AlphouseCenter.

The AlphouseCenters network cooperates at transnational level by sharing knowledge and information via a joint knowledge database, by exchange of experts, by coorganising seminars and conferences, as well as field trips for decision makers, architects and planners and crafts SMEs. The AlphouseCenter network has been established within the framework of the AlpBC project with support of the Alpine Space Programme. As of July 2015, the initiative will be self-sustaining and operated by the responsible partner organisations at regional level.
